In the era of the "staycation," you've come to realize that the hottest romantic spot in town is your very own bedroom--you've taken care to appoint it with the kind of dramatic color schemes, luxurious furnishings, and high thread count sheets that enchanted you in hotels and inns you've experienced in recent travels.

All you need to complete this sexy picture is some candlelight, a little imagination, and a sensuous cocktail.

At the most recent Tales of the Cocktail, an annual gathering of the world's top mixologists and spirits purveyors in New Orleans, romance was a prevailing theme. Many "bar chefs" caused quite a stir with easy-to-prepare cocktails that are--thanks to their mix of luxurious spirits, rich liqueurs, juicy fruits, surprising spices, and decadent mixers--designed specifically to be savored behind closed doors. Now you can blend up some magic that is sure to excite all the senses where it counts most: in the privacy of your own bedroom.
