Remember that great hotel you stayed in that had such wonderful room service? All the details were done to a veritable T—from the pretty coffee service to the special, creamy lotions and that decadent chocolate truffle crowning the plump down pillows. These are the sorts of goodies your guests at home will adore. And as the hotel industry realized long ago, comfortable guests are happy guests—and they tend to come back.
Clean and soft Those fluffy, snowy white towels tell us they’re spotlessly clean and sanitary—the stuff of which carefree, peaceful retreats are made.
This or that? Choices! Imagine being in your favorite bed and breakfast and having a soak with, say, white tea and chamomile scented soap tonight and a long, lingering shower with red clover tomorrow morning.
Simply sparkling Little china pots filled with lemon-spritzed mineral water, aromatic herbal teas, or dark, smooth espresso just ooze the whole room service experience. Choose pretty matching sets, or mix genres and styles for the more eclectic or bon-vivantish sorts of roomies.
French damask Or crisp cotton. Or soft chambrays or watered silk. The point is, real cloth napkins take the whole guest experience up several noticeable notches. Pair classy napkins with weighty silver, and you have the makings of a most memorable visit.
Ray of sunshine A single, simple bloom is just right—not so huge it overwhelms the nose or those early-morning eyes. And it says, in plain but elegant language, just how much you treasure your lovely guests.
