White and Silver Winter Table Setting
This white and silver winter table setting features a harmonious blend of shimmering silver and crisp white place settings, creating an elegant and serene winter ambiance. The arrangement elegantly captures the essence of a frosty, festive season with its sophisticated color palette and refined decor.
Now that Thanksgiving is over, the Christmas season is officially in full swing. Which means Christmas parties and dinners galore.
The next event on my holiday hosting calendar is a winter-themed birthday dinner I’ll be holding for a friend of mine later in December.
And I’ve decided to go with a white and silver winter table setting for the occasion.
But these table decorations would also work well for a winter wonderland themed party, glam Christmas dinner or even a New Year’s Eve party.
Keep reading to get all the details and sources (which are listed in their own section at the bottom).
1 | Cover The Table With Silver
I decided to start with silver on the table.
Silver placemats give some texture under the plates.
Mirror chargers work really well under candles.
They reflect the candle light and make the table sparkle.
Even though these chargers are intended to be used under plates, I don’t think I have ever set the table with them that way.
2 | Add White And Silver Place Settings
I alternated white and silver plates for the place settings.
White chargers with uneven edges add some more texture to the table.
To keep the place setting looking interesting, I used two different plates. A silver-trimmed glass plate topped by a white salad plate.
Silver-edged white napkins with silver snowflake napkin rings finish out the place settings.
3 | Use statement champagne flutes
My favorite glam champagne flutes make a statement on the table.
For this dinner, I will probably be serving sparkling wine (Prosecco is my current favorite!) so I won’t need any other stemmed glasses.
4 | Add Candles
The table is finished with some mercury glass candle holders.
I have had the small tealight holders for a while, and use them often (they seem to look good with everything!)
However, I wanted some candle holders that were a little taller (to vary the height).
But not so high that they block the view across the table.
So I ended up making these frosted glass candle holders out of mason jars.
And they fit in perfectly with the decor!
5 | The Finished Table
The finished table has just enough sparkle to keep all that white from being too boring.
And there’s still space on the table for a few serving dishes.
My favorite champagne flutes fit in perfectly with the winter theme.
As do my new DIY candle holders.
It still looks good during the day without the candles lit.
Overall the table looks exactly like I was hoping it would!
Hopefully, the rest of the dinner will go off just as well 🙂

Beautiful! Love how you put so many interesting items together. The napkin rings and chargers are wonderful. Great job.
Thanks, Aunt Elaine! I like the way it turned out, too 🙂
