The Benjamin Franklin tree is a native North American plant that is believed to be extinct in the wild.
Although the name says it’s a tree, this plant grows more like a bush if left to its own devices.
It has beautiful white flowers in the fall that are very fragrant and last until the first frost.
As an added bonus, the leaves also turn brilliant red in the fall.
