These plants grow fast, so they can quickly provide some height (and shade) in the garden…which is great if you are starting a new garden that needs some structure.
The Chaste tree is covered with medium blue blooms that look something like crepe myrtle flowers. Okay, so this is really a blue-flowering tree, but since you don’t have to plant it every year, I include it in the perennial category 🙂
