Pink and Gold Christmas Tree Decor (On A Black Tree)
This black Christmas tree decorated with pink and gold ornaments may be one of my favorite trees ever. With all the candles on the fireplace mantel beside the tree, the pink and cold Christmas tree decor makes my bedroom look magical.
I know a lot of people probably think this is weird. But my favorite tree to decorate is my black Christmas tree.
I actually bought it a few years ago for Halloween. And then re-used it for Christmas.
Now it’s the tree I like the best.
Since I really loved how it looked in my bedroom last year (with purple and gold Christmas tree decorations), I decided to put it up there again.
But this year I decided to go with pink and gold Christmas tree decor. And even though the colors are very similar, it looks totally different than the pink, gold, white and black tree I did last year in my office. And I totally love it!

The inspiration for the tree were these large blush pink poinsettias with gold trim.
I bought them last year at Michael’s and I love the look of them.
So I wrapped the tree in sheer pink ribbon, which really glows up when the lights are on.
Then I added in lots of gold leaf picks and hanging ornaments.
These help to fill in the gaps in the tree. And the gold glitter adds more sparkle when the lights are on.
Mixing in ornaments with different sizes, shapes and shades of pink helps to make the tree look more interesting.
This year I kept the mantel fairly simple by using all kinds of different candles.
And hanging one of my DIY gold glitter wreaths on the mirror. (Command hooks are my friend for this job!)
I love the way it looks with all of the candles lit on top and under the mantel.
It’s the one room in my house that the animals aren’t allowed into…so it’s much safer to have real candles burning in here!
The whole thing put together makes me want to stay in bed.
I even like it when all of the lights are turned off.
Maybe I’ll turn my bedroom into my office until Christmas is over 🙂
