It seems like lots of people are obsessed with the Grinch these days.
And I’m one of them! It’s my new favorite holiday decor!
So I decided to do my whole office in Grinch-themed Christmas decorations.
It’s not quite Whoville, but I love it!
So today I’m sharing what I did, plus some of the other awesome Grinch decorations I found.
(And I may have let my obsession get the best of me and expanded the Grinchiness out into the yard).
1 | Grinch Christmas Tree
With lots of cute ornaments, Christmas picks and an easy Grinch tree topper, a whimsical Grinch Christmas tree is a fun and festive way to get into the holiday spirit.

These DIY Grinch Christmas ornaments are inexpensive and super simple to make with free printable patterns. Then you glue them onto simple wooden discs and you’re done!
3 | DIY Grinch Ball Ornaments
4 | More Grinch ornaments
Of course, if you don’t want to make your own ornaments, there are lots of Grinch-inspired options you can buy.
5 | DIY Grinch garland
This DIY Grinch garland is a fun and festive addition to your Christmas decor that only takes a few minutes to put together.
6 | Red, white and green Christmas trees
If making a garland sounds like too much work, then putting some red, white and green mini Christmas trees on your mantel may be just the thing.
You get the Christmas-y Grinch look and it only takes a couple of minutes to set up.
Just try to get a few different heights to make them look more natural.
7 | Easy DIY Grinch Gnome
8 | DIY Grinch wreath
If you don’t have a TV above your fireplace, then a wreath is a great way to add some festive spirit to the space.
This DIY Grinch wreath only takes about 15 minutes to make but looks very Christmas-y hanging above the fireplace. (It also works on the front door if it is covered).
9 | Red and white stockings
Of course, if you’re going to be putting up a Grinch tree and decorating the mantel, then you’ll probably want some matching stockings to hang above the fireplace.
I hung up some red and white ones. They aren’t specific to the Grinch but the pom poms have the same vibe and they go with the color scheme.
10 | DIY Grinch Handprint Christmas Stockings
11 | Grinch cushion covers
If you’re looking to integrate How the Grinch Stole Christmas into your home decor, then you’re in luck.
There are all kinds of cushions and cushion covers that are inexpensive and will add a festive feel to your house.
If you’re buying them online, pay attention to the descriptions.
Some of products will include the pillow and some will only be the covers.
If it’s the latter, you’ll need to provide the cushion inserts. But the covers are usually less expensive. So they will save you money over time, since you can re-use the inserts with different covers for all the seasons.
12 | Grinch pictures
To really get into the festive spirit, hang some Grinch-inspired pictures for the holidays.
I made these easy printable silhouette pictures of Cindy Lou Who, Max the dog, the Grinch and a Whoville Christmas tree.
Stapling up some red and white striped wrapping paper behind them really made them stand out.
But you can also buy inexpensive prints and frame them however you want.
13 | Table Linens
Grinch-inspired decor is also available for your holiday table.
You can get runners and tablecloths that are obviously related to the Dr. Seuss story with the Grinch face on them. Or that say “Merry Grinchmas”.
Or go for a subtler approach by choosing table linens in lime green, red and white that match the color scheme, without actually having the Grinch on them.
14 | Tea Towels
Why stop in the dining room when you can have the Grinch in your kitchen?
Like table linens, you can find Grinch-specific tea towels or just replicate the color scheme.
15 | Grinch kitchen mat
Adding a mat on the floor in front of the sink is another easy way to add some Grinch decorations to your home.
I actually used one that is intended to be a front door mat.
It has a rubber back so it won’t slide and it’s really easy to clean. So you don’t have to worry about spills.
They are available in lots of different Grinch designs so you can choose the one you like. Here are some options:
16 | Grinch Outdoor Decorations
The Grinch decor doesn’t have to stop inside the house. There are all kinds of options for your front yard, too!
The Grinch stealing lights is always a popular option. I combined him with green string lights on the bushes and red flood lights.
But there are lots of other ways to add the Grinch to your outdoor display.
