Fuchsia Pink And Lime Green Christmas Tree

Transform your holiday decor with a vibrant pink and lime green Christmas tree, creating a bold and festive statement in your home. This eye-catching combination brings a modern twist to traditional holiday colors, ensuring your tree is the centerpiece of your celebrations.

This year I decided to set up my Christmas tree in the library/living room.

The accents there are fuchsia and lime green — colors taken from the wall paper.

I like my tree to compliment the room it is in, so I made the decision to decorate the tree in shades of those colors.

The living room is very small with limited extra space, so my tree is a slim, white, 6-foot tall artificial spruce. (Pretty much the only thing that will fit there).

I focused on using larger ornaments and picks which make a wow statement and bring an element of surprise and excitement to the tree that belies its diminutive stature.

Here are the supplies and steps I took to achieve the look.

How to decorate a pink and lime green Christmas tree

1 | Fluff the tree
The tree comes in 3 sections that fit into each other by a center pole.
Once they are connected and inserted into the stand, push the 3 electrical cords down the center of the tree, snap all the branches into an outward facing position and straighten and evenly distribute all of the stems.
This takes much longer than you would think. I spent about 2 hours getting all the little stems positioned the way I wanted them.
Plug in the lights to make sure they work.
2 | Add deco mesh and ribbon
Start at the top of the tree behind the leader with a roll of 10″ wide fuchsia micro mesh ribbon.
Loosely wind it around the tree at a 60 degree or so angle.
Be careful not to pull it tight. Rather, have some sections that poof out beyond the branch tips.
When you reach the bottom of the tree, tuck the left over ribbon into the stand or wrap it around the stand to form a puffy skirt.
Repeat the process described above in step 2 with 10″ lime green micro mesh ribbon wound in the opposite direction.
The mesh will cross each other and will stick out loosely in places around the width and length of the tree.
Wind the fuchsia beaded pearl ribbon around the tree, letting it drape between the branches.
3 | Hang the large ornaments
Now you can begin hanging the balls.
First, hang the largest round balls and longest finials in an even distribution.
Make sure the long finials have room to hang straight down.
Stand back often to assess that the placement is balanced.
Pro tip: Tuck a few balls into the tree branches. This creates some extra light reflection which adds more dimension to the tree.
4 | Fill in with medium and small ornaments
Next, hang the medium sized balls, finials, crystal and glass drops.
Make sure the colors and shapes are distributed in a pleasing way.
Then put up the remaining smallest balls, and novelty shaped ornaments like the green and white striped faux wrapped candies.
Pro tip: Try to hang some of the ornaments under the micro mesh and some over it to create a more interesting look.
5 | Add the picks and floral stems
The individual clips, picks and floral stems need to be separated and fluffed into shape before adding them to the tree.
I used quite a few in the top to create a tree topper.

Then stuck the rest in spaces here and there.
Again keep balance in mind.
Pro tip: The tree is crowded with ornaments by this point so you may need to push some aside to accommodate a floral sprig or a flower clip.
6 | Clip on the candles
The last things I put onto the tree stems were the battery operated candle clips.
They add a bit more glimmer toward the front of a densely packed tree.

I love how it looks with lights on, too.

Wrapping the presents in coordinating lime green and fuchsia pink paper and ribbons ties them into the tree.

The tree looks amazing in the living room with all of the colors blending harmoniously together.
